Security Architect - Security Clearance Required
Responsibilities
Peraton's DSCM program encompasses technical, engineering, data analytics, cyber security, management, operational, logistical and administrative support to aid and advise DoS Cyber & Technology Security (CTS) Directorate.
This includes protecting a global cyber infrastructure comprising networks, systems, information, and mobile devices all while identifying and responding to cyber risks and threats.
Peraton is currently seeking an experienced Security Architect to become part of Peraton's Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective and secure business processes.
Location : Rosslyn, VA. This is a hybrid role.
In this role, you will :
- D efine and design / enhance security architecture and security systems.
- Collaborate with Application, Data & Infrastructure teams to architect, design and implement security solutions.
- Define and document security standards and direct implementation of standards and guidelines.
- Perform security audits and security reviews in compliance with Federal Government regulations and implement remediation.
- Create and manage the Security Risk plan.

Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor's in Science degree and 14 years of relevant security experience; 12 years with Masters; 9 years with PhD. An additional 4 years of experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Possess or be able to obtain before start date at least ONE of the following certifications :
- IAT Level II
- IAT Level III
- Active Secret security clearance required to start with the ability to obtain / maintain a final Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Conducting Industry reviews.
- Experience writing white papers.

Target Salary Range
$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
