The West Virginia Purchasing Division is soliciting bids on behalf of Workforce West Virginia to establish a contract for multiple Software Developer positions.
Workforce West Virginia requires two senior programmers to serve as technical leads for system architecture and Data base Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS : Vendor, or Vendor's staff if requirements are inherently limited to individuals rather than corporate entities, shall have the following minimum mandatory qualifications : Senior Programmer for Database Administrator :
Vendor must provide a senior programmer that must perform the following Technical Lead for Database Administrator tasks, on a full-time basis.
Must provide direction, concepts, and business requirements analysis for the project.
Must prepare estimates and schedules for work and work with MACC system manager to assign priorities.
Must develop policies and procedures in coordination with the MACC system manager to ensure xx system operation and support for all system users.
Must support annual DOL data validation efforts by creating samples, compiling, and verifying results, and submitting results.
Must oversee the deployment of system changes to the development and production environments.
Must develop application development standards within the MACC unit.
Must provide responses to WorkForce management.
Must monitor the performance of the development and production environments.
Work under the general supervision and direction of the MACC system manager.
Senior programmer must have a minimum of five () years of experience with the requirements of the US Deparbnent of Labor : Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Wagner-Peyser Act of , Trade Act of , and National Dislocated Worker Grants (NDWGs).
Documentation of experience must be provided upon request.
Senior programmer must have a minimum of five () years of experience working with the Mid-Atlantic Career Consortium (MACC) system in any of the consortimn member states ( ,Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia).
