Responsibilities :

• Develops, implements, and monitors company environmental compliance programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Develops, implements, and monitors company safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Monitors environmental and industrial compliance and maintains liaison with appropriate regulatory agencies
• Recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist
• Will need the ability to inspect our technical facilities to ensure compliance for all applicable regulations and safety requirements
• This position will manage a team of environmental compliance and safety specialists. Strong management skills will be required to ensure an effective and well-run team

Qualifications (include Education Requirements, Experience Level, Required Skills) :

• Travel 50%
• Related Bachelor's degree and five years’ work experience with a minimum of five years environmental and safety regulatory experience
• A minimum of three to five years of experience in applying OSHA and federal EPA regulations
• A minimum of three to five years of experience managing technical or environmental activities in telecom or other technical facilities
• A minimum of three to five years of experience developing improved processes for reduced employee or facility risk
• A minimum of three to five years of experience managing direct reports or relevant experience.
• Strong management skills with the ability to effectively implement and oversee a team of compliance specialists; ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize projects and programs within a team structure;

strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• High-energy individual with interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate peers, and drive project to completion.
• Intermediate Microsoft application experience; ability to quickly and effectively learn internal systems / tools

Additional Desired Qualifications :

Experience in the telecommunications industry preferred
