The starting salary range for this role is $50,000 $70,000. This range does not represent potential future increases or promotions.
What You’ll Accomplish :
- You’ll prepare patent documents for filing with the US Patent & Trademark Office
- You’ll draft routine correspondence for reporting to clients
- You’ll provide general administrative support to Legal Staff, including proofreading and editing various legal documents
- You’ll organize and maintain client files
- You’ll monitor legal dockets on a daily basis and take proactive action relating to upcoming due dates
- You’ll retrieve information and documents from a variety of patent databases
- You’ll assist with other tasks as requested by the Legal Support Staff Manager
What You’ll Bring To The Table :
- You have a minimum of 3+ years of patent prosecution experience
- You have experience and proficiency with patent laws and procedures
- You possess a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
- You’re reliable and accountable
- You’re flexible, able to handle multiple projects, and able to meet deadlines
- You’re able to work in a team environment and be a mentor to others
- You have a positive, proactive and professional attitude
- You’re highly proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, IPDAS, PDF, DMS and CPI
When and Where You’ll Work :
- Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm ET

Working Conditions :
- IP Paralegal is expected to work the hours necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
