Located inbeautiful Salem OR ODFW is seeking a highly skilled GIS Developerwith credible references and related work samples to recreate ODFWsinternal SageGrouse Habitat Quantification Tool (HQT) from ArcGIS10.

RecreateODFWs internal SageGrouse Habitat Quantification Tool (HQT) fromArcGIS 10.5 into ArcGIS Pro aided by the existing system manual andusers guide and ensure the new system properly links to andinteracts with internal and external data sources.
Ensure the new systems properly linkto and interact with internal and external data sources.
Coordinate and perform beta and useracceptance testing deployment and bug fixing to meet identifiedfunctional and nonfunctional geospatial requirements for allchanges.
Update existingor write a new system manual and user guides to align with theupdated / new application.
Update or create new system and database metadata
Potential Secondary Tasks (dependentupon funding and candidate skillset) :
Incorporate additional enhancements asrequested after performing requirements gathering. This mayinclude :
Creating new GISweb and mobile (Survey123 Field Map) applications that meetrequested specifications.
Ensuring revised and new systems properly link to and interact withinternal and external data sources.
Coordinating and performing beta and user acceptancetesting deployment and bug fixing to meet identified functional andnonfunctional geospatial requirements for all tasks.
Update existing or write new systemmanual and user guides to align with the updated / newapplication.

Requested Skills andExperience :
Abachelors degree in a related area
At least 5 years of experience with a working knowledgeof relational databases clientserver concepts and web sitedevelopment
Expertknowledge of ESRI GIS software and applied technologies includingArcGIS Desktop ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
Expert skills in JavaScript ArcGIS API forJavaScript and Python
Experience in cartography (desired)
Experience creating REST / SOAP APIs Web Services and / orJSON services
Experiencein working with mobile applications and GPS Units
Experience developing GISapplications in a web or desktop environment
Experience developing applications usingMicrosoft Visual Studio
Relational database management experience with ArcSDE databases inMS SQL Server 2012 or above
Strong SQL knowledge
Experience in complex spatial analysis for naturalresource projects (desired)
Experience managing geospatial databases includingconversion of digital data in various formats and completing FGDCmetadata
Excellent writingskills
WorkingConditions :
Perform duties fulltime in the office at the start with theopportunity to migrate to a hybrid remote work agreement (seebelow) depending on project needs and demonstrated ability toeffectively communicate / coordinate with team members and producequality products while working remotely
Perform a high volume of detailed technicalwork in a lone developer environment
Routinely work with others in development and delivery ofspatial and tabular data and maps for use in resource managementregulation and collaborative decisionmaking activities
Work 2 days a week in the officeafter working fulltime in the office for a period of time in orderto become familiar with coworkers and demonstrate the ability toperform the work while working remotely.
