Job Description :

The Health and Safety (H&S) Associate is responsible for the proactive management of H&S data recordkeeping and reporting.

This role focuses primarily on collecting, organizing, and analyzing safety information to identify trends and track key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

H&S Data Administration

Analyze H&S data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations on a project, business unit and corporate level

Serve as Administrator for H&S software

Monitor data inputted into H&S software, maintain access controls and data integrity

Conduct routine audits of H&S data to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures

Reporting and Communication

Proactively escalate any trends or leading indicators that could lead to injuries or incidents

Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations on safety performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including safety professionals, operations, legal and risk team members, to understand data requirements and priorities.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies based on trends.

OSHA / State OSHA

Maintain OSHA safety logs track completion of all site safety reports, injuries, and illnesses to governing authorities.

Collect annual data for jobsites

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, preferred but not required.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in related fields

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong communication and writing skills.
