As a Business Market Analyst, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes while identifying opportunities for growth and drive profitability.
The position requires an innate passion to use the power of technology in identifying trends and using predictive analysis to generate actionable insights that support sound decision-making.
What you will do :
- Market Analysis : Conduct a comprehensive analysis of competitor activities, industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats for the company.
- Business Strategy : Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and initiatives based on market insights and financial analysis.
- Financial Analysis : Analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses and profitability, to assess performance to develop forecasts and budgetary plans.
- Operational Efficiency : Evaluate operational processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Risk Management : Assess potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with all regulations and industry standards.
- Data Analysis : Organize, collect and generate actionable insights from various sources to support decision making.
- Performance Monitoring : Identify and establish key performance indicators (KPI’s) and metrics to monitor performance and track progress toward goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various departments, including sales, marketing, operations and finance, to align business objectives and drive cohesive strategies.
- Presentation and Reporting : Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate findings, recommendations and progress updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, utilizing compelling storytelling techniques that are easily understandable.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What we need from you :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience as a business analyst or in a similar role within a data-driven environment.
- Proven experience as a business analyst or similar role within the industry.
- Expertise in analytical reporting, financial modeling and data analysis tools, and data visualization and presentation tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Knowledge of SAP, Power BI and AI.
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of chemical industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics for analyzing market trends, forecasting business opportunities and providing actionable insights.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of influencing key business decisions through data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.
