Analytical Lab Chemist with Precious Metals experience preferred (Pay -DOE) Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analysis using specified techniques
• Perform wet chemical analysis tests
• Fully load and unload high-temperature furnaces with fusion and cupellation samples
• Hammering fusion samples
• Conduct R&D
• Follow QAQC protocol
• Operate and maintain instruments / equipment such as ICP, XRay, and Furnace
• Data entry and ability to interpret analytical results / data
• Assist in maintaining and cleaning of the lab instruments and equipment
• Act as a backup when team members are not present Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Experience in wet chemistry and operation of ICP-OES
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Physical Requirements :
• Necessity to stand continually through an entire shift
