Appointment Secretary/Call Center - Laser & Skin Surgery Center of NY - New York, NY
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Duties may include, but not limited to all or some of the following. Answer all incoming calls Transfer calls to appropriate department, when needed Schedule appointments for all physicians Confirm appointments for all physician, when required Cover telephone operator daily Become proficient in all procedures performed by the physicians Provide callers with general information about the physicians and procedures that are performed.
Willing to work additional hours and weekends, when required Other job related tasks, as assigned, by supervisors and / or chief operating officer ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES : Excellent customer service and communication skills Demonstrates genuine concern for patients Ability to multi-task Work as a team member Organized and strong attention to detail Treats patients and co-workers with respect EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Two years medical office experience preferred but not required.
