Payroll Supervisor

Verifies and enters tokes, and accumulate information required for toke rate calculations.
Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing payroll practices, including tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and labor laws.
Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to payroll processes accordingly.
System Administration : Oversee payroll software and systems, ensuring proper configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with IT department for system upgrades, enhancements, and resolving technical issues.
Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of team member wages, deductions, and hours worked. Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as required.
Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data.
- Communication : Serve as a point of contact for team member inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions. Communicate effectively with HR department, finance, and other relevant stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
- Auditing and Reconciliation : Conduct regular audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy and compliance. Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in payroll operations.
Implement best practices to streamline processes and reduce errors.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in payroll administration, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a casino or hospitality setting.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
- Ability to read, comprehend and interpret written and / or oral instructions
- Ability to communicate with internal and / or external guests
