In this role you will :
Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing.
Implement backend RESTful web services using Java or Python.
Develop modern UI components using javascript frameworks such as Angular, React and JQuery. Leverage your experience with Javascript, CSS, HTML to create modern user interfaces.
Implement solutions utilizing the Amazon Web Services well architected framework.
Experience horizontally scaling heavy workload applications in the cloud.
Query large data-sets using distributed NO-SQL databases such as MongoDB, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB or similar systems.
Be well versed in application frameworks such as the Spring Framework.
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Cloud Formation or Terraform.
Familiar with core AWS services such as : EC2, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, RDS, etc...
Ideal Skills :
Experience working in a fast-paced, Agile software development environment
Experience building / deploying applications using AWS.
Able to continuously learn and be at the leading edge of industry trends.
Comfortable serving as a Lead Engineer or Subject Matter Expert for migrating legacy applications from monolithic architectures to Service Oriented Architectures on cloud infrastructure if asked / required.
Required Experience :
14+ Years of Full Time Software Development experience are required.

Required Degrees :
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
A Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required for certain positions.
