We are looking to hire an Industrial Hygienist I to our team in West Springfield, MA! Come join us!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Perform industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, water intrusion, mold, asbestos, lead, and other building science related assessments in various settings
• Interact and communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency representatives in a professional manner.
• Effectively communicate with direct supervisor and other Atlas team members.
• Read and understand project specifications, sampling methodologies, and building drawings.
• Prepare reports for senior review

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor of Science Degree Required.
• 1-3 years of experience in field work relating to industrial hygiene services, indoor air quality, and hazardous building materials.
• Additional experience in lieu of degree considered.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation.

Technical Requirements :

• Asbestos Inspector / Management Planner / Designer / Monitor licenses preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience required.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations applicable to mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality and industrial hygiene services preferred.

Other Miscellaneous Qualities :

• Ability to travel locally 90% of the time.
• Ability to work off-shifts, as needed.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Effective time management skills
