A local school framework is recruiting a qualified Substitute Paraprofessional to deliver instructional support across campuses. Completion of state fingerprinting clearance is required before assignments begin.
Responsibilities :
Aid classroom instruction by assisting with student tasks, reinforcing learning objectives, and maintaining instructional flow.
Provide direct support to students needing additional help, including small-group or one-on-one sessions.
Supervise student activities, assist in managing transitions, and help maintain a safe and structured learning space.
Maintain documentation of student interactions, progress, and behavior and communicate effectively with teaching staff.
Comply with school and district protocols regarding confidentiality, safety, and student conduct.
Qualifications / Desired Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent required; preference for those with background in education or child development.
Experience working with children or students in school, tutoring or support roles preferred.
Mandatory completion of state fingerprinting and internal background screening.
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to support diverse learners across various grade levels.
Dependability, professionalism, and readiness to adapt to different school environments and schedules.
