Responsibilities
- Provides clerical support to the department to contribute to an effective and organized department
- Maintains files and medical records in an accurate and timely manner, answers phone calls in a courteous and prompt manner.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, maintains appropriated level of supplies for the dept.
- Consistently enters data accurately
- Customer Service, focus
- Greets patients and performs check-in / check-out and registration procedures for patients in a positive, professional manner.
- Accurately and efficiently completes registration of new patients upon arrival including obtaining appropriate signatures and insurance information
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- High school / GED
- 1 year clerical experience
Preferred Job Requirements
- Previous office manager, medical coding, or front office
