As part of Detection and Measurement, Sealite is a leading designer and manufacturer of marine aids to navigation (AtoN) equipment.

Offering the broadest portfolio of solutions including marine lighting, navigation buoys, marine floats, port entry lighting systems, lighthouse lighting, and monitoring and control systems, we help people transverse the world safely by sea.

Description : Assemble and test products for the marine and aviation industry with focus on maintaining the highest quality, safety and on time-delivery of goods to customers.

Duties :

  • Follow safe work practices and procedures and ensure a "safety first" culture in every task undertaken.
  • Ability to train teammates on specific assembly functions.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawings, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials and spearhead the work of others.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
  • Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
  • Familiarity with the appropriate tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment
  • Communicate with others on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
  • Maintain and service all equipment when necessary.
  • Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably directed.

Minimum Positions Requirements :

  • Master level electromechanical assembly experience
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Soldering certification
  • Good motor skills and ability to do fine assembly.
  • Ability to read and carefully follow instructions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good computer skills such as use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
