We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with a strong background in construction safety to take on a pivotal role in our company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all safety operations on construction sites, ensuring all procedures and standards are adhered to, and mitigating any potential risks or hazards.

The Safety Manager will work closely with the project management team, site supervisors, and workers to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities :

1. Develop, implement, and manage safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

2. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure safety equipment and procedures are in place.

3. Develop and deliver safety training programs for all employees, subcontractors, and partners.

4. Investigate incidents and accidents on the construction site, compile reports, and recommend corrective actions.

5. Provide guidance and advice on the implementation of effective safety practices.

6. Coordinate emergency procedures, onsite first aid, medical care, and workers' compensation claims.

7. Maintain records of all safety-related activities and incidents.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in construction safety regulations and best practices.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 5 years of construction safety experience.

2. Certified in OSHA 500 - Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry.

3. Knowledge of NFPA 70E and other relevant safety standards and regulations.

4. Proven ability to develop and implement safety programs and training.

5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.

6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in high-stress situations.

7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.

8. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred.

9. Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus.
