DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Come join The Halal Guys, the leader (and pioneer) of American Halal Food. Launched 30 years ago as a halal street cart on 53rd & 6th in New York City, our beloved and iconic fast casual brand now boasts 100 restaurants on three continents with over 300 in development worldwide.

In full growth mode, we have just launched a search for a Director of Marketing to join our team at corporate headquarters in NYC.

Summary of Position

The Director of Marketing is a senior-level executive responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive business growth and enhance The Halal Guys brand recognition.

The Director of Marketing oversees all marketing activities, including advertising, public relations, branding, promotions, events, and digital marketing.

Maintain frequent communication with Chief Development Officer on a regular basis, providing information crucial to the decision-making process for overall company marketing decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans and strategies to achieve business objectives and goals.
• Manage and lead the marketing team, providing guidance and direction on marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, development, and finance, to ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitors' activities.
• Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media and digital advertising.
• Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, such as product brochures and customer presentations.
• Manage public relations activities, such as press releases and media relations.
• Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics, such as campaign ROI, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, and customers to ensure brand awareness and loyalty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A Master's degree would be ideal.
• 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and analytically, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in managing a marketing budget and measuring marketing ROI.
• Knowledge of marketing technologies and tools, such as marketing automation, CRM, and analytics software.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
