  • Lead solution design for major ServiceNow initiatives by translating business and legal practice requirements into scalable technical architectures.
  • Partner with attorneys, practice group leaders, business managers, and clients to identify opportunities for operational improvement through ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Oversee the technical direction, code reviews, security adherence, best practices, and solution quality of ServiceNow development work performed by internal teams and external partners.
  • Conduct architectural assessments of existing workflows and applications to identify inefficiencies, modernization needs, and opportunities for reuse.
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, solution blueprints, reference implementations, and development standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on platform performance optimization, upgrade planning, instance health, and lifecycle management.
  • Lead pre and post project evaluations to ensure alignment with best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Support and advise on process reengineering efforts for litigation, transactional, and business operations workflows across the firm.
  • Communicate technical concepts and architectural decisions clearly to executives, cross functional teams, and non technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with security and governance teams to ensure compliance with firm policies, data privacy standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Recommend new capabilities, automation, integrations, and platform expansions to support firm strategic goals.
  • Mentor junior developers and engineers, fostering a culture of high quality engineering practices.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by senior IT leadership.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 7+ years of hands on experience with the ServiceNow platform, including App Engine, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and CMDB design.
  • Proven experience serving as a technical lead for enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
  • Deep expertise in workflow design, scripting (JavaScript), platform administration, server maintenance, and upgrade management.
  • Proficiency with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, MID Servers, API design, and third party system integrations.
  • Strong programming skills (, JavaScript, Python, SQL, C#, .NET) and experience building custom applications.
  • Experience with RPA, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and enterprise automation tools preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive experience eliciting, validating, and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Strong documentation, architectural modeling, and technical writing abilities.
  • Prior experience mentoring or leading technical staff strongly preferred.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and make sound recommendations to senior leadership.
