In this individual contributor role, you will own the end-to-end strategy for our software content, covering key verticals such as Game Development Tools, Media Production, Education, and System Utilities. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy to source, negotiate, and close high-value partnerships that drive revenue and bring exciting new content to our customers.
For candidates in or near Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY, there may be a requirement to work out of our office locations on a hybrid basis. For all other candidates, this role will be remote. Some travel is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing and Deal Execution
- Own the Pipeline: Independently identify, target, and engage with top-tier software developers and publishers to build a robust pipeline of content for bundles.
- Complex Negotiations: Lead full-cycle deal execution, negotiating licensing terms, minimum guarantees, and revenue shares to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Market Strategy: Act as the internal subject matter expert for the software vertical, identifying emerging trends and new product categories (e.g., AI tools, creative assets) to expand our market reach.
- Account Management and Growth
- Portfolio Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key publisher accounts, maintaining strong relationships to ensure recurring participation and long-term retention.
- Revenue Growth: Analyze past bundle performance and market data to identify opportunities for maximizing revenue and optimizing bundle composition.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Demonstrated success in independently negotiating and closing complex content or licensing deals.
- Strong existing relationships with software developers and publishers (specifically in creative or utility software).
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision, managing multiple deal cycles simultaneously.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling pitch decks and presentations.
- The Nice-to-Haves
- Deep familiarity with the 'Creator Economy' software stack, including Music Creation Tools, Live Streaming, Game Engines, and Audio/Video production software.
