Description
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or in lieu of a degree, any combination of education and experience may be substituted for the required degree that equals four (4) years in materials management.
- In addition to #1, must have a minimum five (5) years progressively responsible experience in materials management.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have excellent knowledge of plant and industry safety rules relating to industrial equipment and storehouse operations.
- Must have experience in computerized inventory systems, purchase order and accounts payable systems. Previous experience in ERP systems preferred.
- Must have excellent skill using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Ability to stand, walk, and / or sit, for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to operate a vehicle.
- Must be willing to travel within Metra’s 6-county region.
- Must be available to work flexible hours in the early morning, late afternoon,
- evenings, or weekends.
