Job Description:

Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr
  • The BI Lead will be responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining enterprise business intelligence platforms to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • This role focuses on developing analytics reports and executive dashboards, managing BI environments, implementing automation, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality insights.
  • The BI Lead will also mentor team members and enforce standards and best practices across the BI ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects platforms to ensure reliable performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Lead Analysts to implement and maintain security for BI environments, including access control and data security.
  • Design, develop, test, and implement operational and analytical reports, scorecards, benchmarks, and executive-level dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Develop and deploy advanced visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Implement PowerShell and Python scripts for user onboarding, system health monitoring, and alerting.
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting of analytics dashboards.
  • Manage patches, change management, performance optimization, standards and best practices, mentoring, metadata management, cluster and distributed environments, cache and history management, user management, and scheduling.
  • Configure and manage data gateways for secure data access.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates regularly with stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Hands-on experience administering Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects platforms.
  • Strong SQL skills for debugging and resolving data-related issues.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Experience with ETL tools and SQL scripting.
  • Experience managing and configuring gateways.
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, batch processing, and workflow scheduling tools.
  • Proficiency in integrating data from multiple sources into Snowflake and SQL Server, and reporting through Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Business Objects environments.
  • Ability to perform ad-hoc data analysis, solution design, reporting, and dashboard development.
Experience:
  • Minimum of four years of hands-on experience as an administrator for Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Business Objects.
  • At least one year of scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Bash.
  • At least two years of experience working with ETL tools and SQL scripting.
Skills:
  • Business intelligence platform administration.
  • Dashboard development and data visualization.
  • SQL and data analysis.
  • Scripting and automation.
  • Performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Stakeholder communication and collaboration.
Should Have:
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Prior experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
