Job Title : Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location : Raleigh, North Carolina, 27614
Shift Schedule : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM | Monday, Thursday, and Friday
Duration : 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week
Pay Range : $42 / hr - $50 per hour on a W2
Responsibilities :
Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures in accordance with facility protocols and physician preferences.
Prepare and maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures.
Ensure proper handling and availability of surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to provide safe, efficient, and quality care.
Maintain surgical counts (sponges, instruments, sharps) to ensure patient safety.
Support operating room turnover and sterilization procedures as required.
Adhere to all infection control standards, policies, and guidelines.
Skills / Experience Needed :
Must have recent, hands-on scrubbing experience in a hospital OR setting - Required.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and surgical procedures.
Ability to stay focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Education :
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program - Required.
Certifications :
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT - Required.
BLS Certification (American Heart Association) - Required.
COVID-19 Vaccination - Required per facility policy.
