POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) / Vice President of Operations (VP) is a member of the company executive team and always demonstrates ethical and professional behavior while promoting the company vision, mission, and core values and principles. The COO will plan, oversee, and implement operations strategy. Develop and implement budgets for multiple business units, departments, and projects. Interview, hire, and train operations employees. Analyze and improve business operations. Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and Tribal laws. Communicate project progress, collaborate with executive leadership and management, and maintain the organization's profitability, efficiency, and growth.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COO / VP :
Leading Departments and Operations :
- Oversee day-to-day business unit operations, information technology, physical resource and security, and human resource department.
- Managing staff, ensuring efficient operations, and aligning them with the company's strategic goals and mission.
- Manage and oversee important projects, direct initiatives, and implement company-wide plans.
- Define and implement operations strategy, structure, and processes.
- Monitor performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions.
- Maintain working knowledge of all phases of operations.
- Coordinate support to operations throughout the business units.
