Position Summary :

As an Azure Cloud Architect for Migration Projects, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that support the migration of mission-critical applications, workloads, and data from legacy data center environments to cloud platforms. Leveraging your expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and migration strategies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute migration plans that meet requirements and business objectives.

• Lead the design and development of cloud architectures that align with client requirements, industry best practices, and cloud provider capabilities (Azure).
• Define architectural patterns, standards, and guidelines for cloud migration projects from On-Premises, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess existing infrastructure environments, identify migration requirements, and develop comprehensive migration strategies and plans.
• Define migration approaches, methodologies, and tools, considering factors such as workload dependencies, data gravity, and regulatory compliance.
• Configure and provision cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security services, to support migration activities and post-migration operations.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness through resource right-sizing, load balancing, and auto-scaling configurations.
• Document cloud architecture designs, migration plans, implementation procedures, and operational best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuity of operations.
• Implement automation and orchestration solutions to streamline provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure components.
• Design and implement security controls, policies, and procedures to protect cloud-based assets and data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Need to assess existing workflows and use cases and determine the architectural strategy for respective domains from core apps to core banking.
• If candidates don't have a financial services background, they should have Strong and enterprise-level experience, running large migration and data center migration efforts.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Effectively lead teams of Architects and Engineers building cloud services that may be organizationally and geographically distributed.
• Ability to mentor Architects and engineering staff.
• Participate in contract discussions that involve technical decisions.
• Mandatory Microsoft Azure Certificate.
