POSITION OVERVIEW

A large industrial manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Data Specialist to join its Miami team. This role is central to maintaining accurate product information across customer portals, internal systems, and product databases by managing product uploads, pricing updates, and customer-specific data. The Product Data Specialist will work closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and leadership teams to ensure data accuracy, support customer portal requirements, and maintain the integrity of product information across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Data Management

  • Maintain accurate product information across internal systems and customer portals.
  • Upload new products and update existing product listings, including specifications, dimensions, descriptions, images, and other product attributes.
  • Maintain pricing information and customer-specific product data across multiple platforms.
  • Review and validate product information before publishing to customer-facing portals.
  • Ensure product data remains accurate, complete, and consistent across all business systems.

Customer Portal Management

  • Manage product uploads and ongoing maintenance for customer portals such as Home Depot, Wayfair, and other retail or distribution partners.
  • Ensure customer portal content meets customer requirements and formatting standards.
  • Coordinate customer-specific product setup requests and updates.
  • Troubleshoot product listing issues and resolve data discrepancies in a timely manner.

Data Quality & System Maintenance

  • Perform high-volume data entry with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Audit product records to identify and correct inconsistencies.
  • Maintain product master data across multiple business systems.
  • Support ongoing data cleanup and standardization initiatives.
  • Assist with new product launches by ensuring all required product information is complete and accurate.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and Product teams to collect and maintain accurate product information.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding product updates, data discrepancies, and customer requirements.
  • Support operational projects that rely on accurate product and customer data.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or similar role — manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred

• Expert-level Power BI skills, calculated columns, data modeling, Power Query (M), and Power BI Service (workspaces, row-level security, scheduled refresh)

• Strong SQL skills — ability to write complex queries, joins, subqueries, stored procedures, and views against large relational databases

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills: pivot tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, dynamic arrays, and financial modeling

• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP — saved searches, Suite Analytics Workbook, custom reports, and data extraction

• Demonstrated experience building production-grade dashboards and reports used daily by business stakeholders

• Strong understanding of manufacturing data concepts: BOMs, COGS, cost variances, production efficiency, and inventory valuation

• Experience with data mapping, documentation, and working across multiple integrated business systems

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and report reliability

• Strong communication skills — able to explain data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting sales analytics across multiple business verticals or customer segments

• Familiarity with pricing and costing models in a manufacturing or distribution environment

• Experience with ETL tools or building automated data pipelines

• Microsoft Power BI certification (PL-300) is a plus

• Exposure to additional visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker

• Experience with NetSuite SuiteScript or SuiteFlow in a reporting context

• Background in finance, accounting, or operations analysis a plus

Benefits

• Competitive salary of $50,000 – $60,000 based on experience

• Comprehensive healthcare and dental benefits

• Paid time off and company holidays

• Professional development and continuing education support

• A high-impact role with direct visibility to leadership at a growing Miami-based manufacturer

• Collaborative team environment with the resources and data infrastructure to do meaningful analytical work
