Job Summary:
As a Staffing Coordinator at Gardens Nursing and Rehab Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by coordinating and managing the scheduling of our staff. Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the scheduling of our nursing staff, including assigning shifts, calling in subs, and making adjustments as needed
Maintain accurate records and reports of staff schedules, attendance, and leave
Collaborate with management to develop and implement staffing plans and strategies
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Provide excellent customer service to our patients, families, and employees
Develop and maintain effective relationships with our staff, residents, and families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting; previous experience in a scheduling or coordination role a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software a plus
Must be able to pass level 2 fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
