Position Summary Davcor Aviation Services is hiring Entry-Level Aircraft Fuel Systems Technicians to support aircraft fuel tank maintenance, inspection, and repair. This is a hands-on, high-demand aviation role ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to start a long-term career in aviation maintenance. You will work in an FAA-regulated, safety-sensitive environment, gaining real-world experience alongside experienced aviation maintenance professionals. No prior aviation experience required we train the right candidates. Important: This role requires working inside aircraft fuel tanks (confined spaces). What Youll Gain Entry into the aviation industry (no A&P required)Hands-on experience working on commercial aircraft systemsStructured on-the-job training and skill developmentClear path to advancement into higher-level technician rolesLong-term career opportunities in a high-demand field Key Responsibilities Assist with aircraft fuel tank maintenance, inspection, and repairPerform fuel tank entry, cleaning, sealing, and component removal/installationUse basic hand tools and maintenance equipment to complete assigned tasksFollow technical data, work instructions, company manuals, and safety proceduresCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environmentPerform additional duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with experience using basic hand toolsAbility to work in confined spaces (required)Ability to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAbility to follow detailed technical data and work instructionsStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentValid drivers license Must successfully pass pre-employment screening, including: FAA-mandated drug testBackground check Tools: Must provide basic personal hand tools Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Previous aviation, mechanical, industrial, or maintenance experienceFamiliarity with safety-sensitive or regulated work environmentsInterest in long-term career growth within aviation maintenance Work Environment & Physical Requirements (Confined Space) This position requires work inside aircraft fuel tanks and other confined spaces. Technicians must be able to safely enter, work within, and exit confined areas in accordance with OSHA confined-space standards and company safety procedures. Responsibilities and physical requirements include: Perform maintenance tasks in confined and restricted spaces with limited clearanceEnter and exit aircraft fuel tanks through access openings typically ranging from approximately 1224 inchesPerform tasks requiring reaching, bending, crawling, kneeling, and working in tight spaces for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 80 poundsAbility to squat, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and stand for extended periodsAbility to work from maintenance stands, lifts, and lift trucksAbility to work in hangar, ramp, and aircraft environments, including exposure to industrial conditions and varying weatherAbility to read and interpret technical instructions and diagramsMaintain a high level of safety awareness, quality, and attention to detailPerform other duties as assigned based on operational needs Why Join Davcor Aviation Services?
