Full Time, Entry Level / Hourly Programmer

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Full Time, Entry Level / Hourly Programmer in various locations. In this role you will support the full life-cycle development of spacecraft flight software solutions to include requirements analysis, object oriented analysis & design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test / delivery; working with experienced engineers creating solutions which will enable NASA to continue to explore deep space and provide support to the U.S. Intelligence Community.

The successful candidate will have experience and / or knowledge of the following : familiar with real-time development environments and languages (Python, Java, C, C++); supporting the final systems hardware and software integration and testing, generating the required documents for spacecraft delivery and completing the coding and unit level testing. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a government security clearance.

Basic Qualifications :

• Associate degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related discipline or technical training, or related work experience.
• Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
• Ability to obtain security clearance

Desired Skills :

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $48,500 - $85,675. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
