Salary : $95,000 - $148,000

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Provide photographic records.
• Be able to read and understand architectural, structural, and civil drawings
• Be able to redline drawings and pictures using adobe acrobat
• Track completed work; and assist in reviewing contractors progress payments
• Provide field support services for submittals, RFIs, and requests for contract change orders.
• Notify the resident engineer of any observed non-conformances and assist in the issuance of non-conformance reports as required.
• Participate in and / or conduct planning, preconstruction, coordination, progress, scheduling, and field staff meetings.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, constructability reviews and contract closeout records.
• Assist in detecting and resolving disputes and / or problems
• Respond to complaints from the public
• Ensure that all required tests, operations, measurements, and inspections are scheduled, and ordered, staff working on progress payments by verifying and preparing quantity and progress estimates.
• Maintain records on unit price quantities, labor, equipment and progress for change order work.
• Review change orders for implementation.
• Make field measurements and maintain as-built drawing records.
• Conduct and / or witness testing of contract material, equipment, and installations.
• Report safety and traffic hazards, defective work, and debris to the contractor for correction.
