We are currently searching for a Part Time Patient Services Specialist to work with our OrthoCarolina Ballantyne Orthopedic Urgent Care team.
The Patient Services Specialist greets patients, prepares forms, collects, verifies and enters patient information into EPIC necessary for the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.
Essential Functions :
- Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.
- Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges,
- Collection of co-payments / co-insurance and balances due.
- Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA / disability forms completion as requested.
