Web Developer (WordPress & PHP)
Location: Scottsdale, AZ | Full-Time, Direct Hire | On-Site
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8 AM 5 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced WordPress & PHP Developer to build and manage websites and help establish our web development function from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Build custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
Manage API integrations, custom post types, and website functionality.
Handle VPS hosting, domains, SSL, backups, security, and performance.
Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and Core Web Vitals.
Troubleshoot website, server, and database issues.
Communicate with clients, gather requirements, and conduct website demos.
Manage multiple projects and coordinate with marketing and design teams.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of professional PHP and WordPress development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with custom themes and plugins.
Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
Experience with REST API integrations and VPS/server management.
Knowledge of website security, SEO, and performance optimization.
Strong communication, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
Preferred: 5+ years of experience, AWS/cloud hosting knowledge, and experience building a web development function from scratch.
