URM Stores , is currently looking for a Credit Specialist , who will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our company. You will be responsible for business-to-business collections, credit analysis, reviewing aging reports, researching, and resolving AR discrepancies, and participating in special projects. Your keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel will be essential in successfully carrying out your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct business-to-business collections, ensuring timely and effective communication with clients to facilitate timely payment.
• Perform credit analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
• Review and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate actions.
• Conduct research to identify and resolve discrepancies between invoiced amounts and received payments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address any billing issues or disputes, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist in generating financial reports related to accounts receivable for management review.
• Participate in special projects related to process improvement and streamlining AR operations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all AR-related transactions and communications.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and foster strong cross-functional collaboration.

Salary Description

Salary range is $21.50 - $22.50 an hour DOE
