We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Engineering Manager to lead our platform engineering team. You will own the technical direction, architecture, and delivery of our Salesforce ecosystem while managing, mentoring, and growing a team of talented engineers and developers. Partnering closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and cross-functional teams, you will deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that drive business impact, and provide leadership over QA, vendor and partner relationships, and team culture. This role is located at our headquarters in Naperville, IL. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role
6+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience. 3+ years managing Salesforce engineering teams, including direct people management. Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs. Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security model, and governor limits. Proven experience with integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar). Experience with DevOps tooling for Salesforce (SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines, tools such as Copado, Gearset, or Flosum). Track record of delivering complex Salesforce projects on time and on budget. Demonstrated experience managing vendors, offshore teams, or implementation partners. Working knowledge of QA practices and the ability to set quality direction for a team, even if QA is not your primary background.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect. Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ, Revenue Cloud). Familiarity with Salesforce test automation tools (Provar, Copado Robotic Testing, Selenium) and Apex test frameworks. Familiarity with adjacent tools and ecosystems (Snowflake, Segment, ERP platforms, AWS, and similar). Experience leading large-scale Salesforce migrations, org consolidations, or platform modernizations. Experience negotiating SOWs, MSAs, and managing partner commercial relationships. Experience building distributed or globally distributed engineering teams. Background working in regulated industries or with sensitive customer data.
Education
An undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. An MS, MBA, or related advanced degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.

The base pay range for this position is $129,840 - $194,760 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
