Position Overview
We are seeking Programmer Analyst III professionals to support complex application development and system enhancement initiatives within a large enterprise healthcare environment. This role focuses on web services development, system integration, and enhancements to mission-critical applications supporting long-term care and human services programs.
The ideal candidate will independently perform advanced development tasks, contribute to system design and testing activities, and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, test, and document software applications using structured and object-oriented development methodologies.
- Analyze user requests for new or enhanced functionality and determine feasibility, scope, cost, and timelines.
- Design and develop web services and system integrations supporting enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with users and stakeholders to understand business processes and clarify program objectives.
- Develop detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Perform system integration testing and support deployment activities.
- Create and execute system test plans, test scenarios, schedules, and defect management processes.
- Coordinate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to ensure system requirements are documented and met.
- Support enhancements to existing batch processing systems and web services.
- Lead or provide guidance to other technical team members as needed.
