Java software developer Jobs in Lewisville, TX

Insight Global is looking for a Java Developer for a multinational solutions provider for agriculture based in Grapevine, Texas. You would be joining a software development team responsible for the client-facing dealership application. The primary responsibility for this role would be ensuring security vulnerabilities for this existing application. This is a legacy application written in Java, Spring Framework, Struts, Azure, Kafka with relational databases on the back end (SQL, DB2, Mongo). The ideal candidate for this role would have experience triaging bug fixes, working in collaboration with multiple teams to resolve issues, and able to write and deploy new code. This role would require two days working on site in Grapevine, TX.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 or more years of experience with Java (v 8 or 11)
• Experience supporting application bug fixes
• Experience working with security teams to understand if medium security vulnerabilities are valid
• Experience building and deploying code with Gradle and Jenkins
• Strong willingness to learn and collaborate with cross functional teams
