Interview Note : Youll be screen sharing using AI tool of your choice and then youll be programming together as a part of the process!

We can provide you an Anthropic API key to use during the interview if you dont want to use your own. This can be used for Claude Code Cursor and other tools.

What Youll Do

As a Junior System Engineer you will :

• Design build and maintain internal tools and automation scripts using JavaScript / TypeScript .
• Develop lightweight APIs CLI tools and web utilities to enhance developer productivity and system reliability.
• Implement and manage API integrations between internal systems and external services (e.g. GitHub Jira HubSpot NetSuite or internal APIs).
• Experiment with and build AI-powered developer tools and automations using ChatGPT Claude Code and other LLM APIs .
• Collaborate with infrastructure and product engineering teams to streamline developer workflows deployments and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues ensuring smooth operation across environments.
• Write clear documentation and onboard teammates to the tools you create.
• Participate in design reviews daily stand-ups and sprint planning with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to unit and integration testing for tools and APIs.
