The Manager of Mobile Hit Lab (MHL) will be responsible for overseeing Mobile Hit Lab, a team of 15+ field sales / marketing specialists around the country. Mobile Hit Lab is a key consumer facing channel for the company, in-charge of activation and day-to-day operation of grass roots product demo and sales events. The person in this role will be accountable for the overall sales targets and tasked with optimizing deployment of MHL team throughout the country to best deliver on both brand and sales initiatives. This position will assist the Rawlings, Easton, Miken and Worth Product and Brand teams with player feedback, social media support, and product insights, while working with the cross-functional team on product launches, forecasting, and delivery of overarching Omnichannel goals
The ideal candidate for this role should be proficient in managing large teams in a remote setting and thus excel in communication and organizational skills. Additionally, he / she should be comfortable with having a varying schedule that will require both travel (average 2 weeks / month) and working occasional nights and weekends as required by the events that the MHL team will be attending.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Leads the coordination and organization of the grass roots event schedule and activation
- Assists the Team Sales Director with coordination of grass roots partnerships and opportunities to demo product and facilitate the Mobile Hit Lab
- Manages and organizes Mobile Hit Lab for fall and spring tours to maximize on-field exposure and exclusive product usage
- Assists the Team Sales Director and the Category Management teams to develop reports and surveys to effectively report and organize player feedback while the MHL team is onsite at events
- Leads coordination between MHL and TD Sales Reps
- Works with Category Management teams to assist in product development initiatives and timelines with valuable on-field product insights
- Assists the Sales / Marketing team with Easton / Rawlings Mobile Hit Lab objectives – brand storytelling, and sales driving initiatives
- Assists the Brand and Digital Marketing teams with social media and digital campaigns
- Responsible for Sales targets assigned to the MHL channel
- Works with brick & mortar and ecommerce sales leads to help drive efficiencies across overarching Direct-to-Consumer channels
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required :
Working Conditions : Physical surroundings are generally indoor and outdoor, pleasant, and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards. Some physical effort required; setup and tear down activities of company marketing tools. Typically seated or standing with the freedom of movement on a regular basis, handling of light materials. Extensive travel.
