Job Title : Market Manager

Duties :

• Establish strategic direction and manage the Americas Market Development team and the Advanced Interlayer Solutions (AIS) Global Marketing Communications (MC) team.
• Develop and implement global AIS communication strategy and vision.
• Manage and execute internal communications within AIS Division globally.
• Create a cohesive and proactive communications team through transparent and visionary leadership.
• Build communication plans in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and Product groups to increase brand awareness, relevance, and preference to targeted audiences.
• Enhance corporate image and market position within respective marketplaces aligned with corporate strategy.
• Create and administer branding standards and communication policies and implement them globally for all the brands used by AIS.
• Coordinate internal media interest and act as the representative for all external media.
• Manage all branding, MC, and public relations (PR) activities and resources within budget.
• Create demand in the architectural market for AIS specialty interlayers.
• Liaise with and influence key players in the value chain to present the benefits and properties of Kuraray's interlayer products.
• Identify, prioritize, and prospect new opportunities in different market segments.
• Arrange and participate in architecture events to promote AIS interlayers.
• Collect and analyze market information to support business decisions.
• May telecommute from anywhere in the United States.
• Requires up to 20% domestic travel and 10% foreign travel.
