Job descriptionIdeally 10 years of industry experience, whether in a marketing / product manager / marketing or engineering capacity B.S or higher in Electrical Engineering or closely related field. Some prior marketing experience is strongly preferred (B2B or B2C) Previous experience in a Product Manager or Product Marketing role is strongly preferred
My client are looking for a highly technical, marketing lead to join the team. They are a well funded startup looking to expand marketing efforts due to recent successes.
Ideal candidates will come from an engineering background / education and will have the ability to understand how the companies product works, and be able to translate into meaningful stories to share with customers.
This will be a gritty, hands-on role where some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :
- setting up trade shows, figuring out floor plans
- learning marketing design tools such as Illustrator
- creating content through social media and other avenues
- IMPORTANT
Team is open to this person coming from a 100% engineering / technical background as long as you are motivated / interested in getting more into marketing!
