Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator to oversee and optimize our enterprise data systems in Miami, Florida. This role involves managing database integrity, ensuring seamless integration across platforms, and supporting the organization's efficiency and growth through data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Microsoft Dynamics GP and a strong background in SQL Server database administration.
Responsibilities :
- Lead efforts to ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and mobility across the organization, recommending and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain integration points between Microsoft Dynamics GP and other systems using custom stored procedures and integration software.
- Manage peripheral hardware and software integrations to enhance the backend system functionality of Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Oversee all aspects of SQL Server database administration, including performance monitoring and tuning.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure Microsoft Dynamics GP meets functional needs and supports departmental workflows.
- Optimize company databases to improve workplace efficiencies, profitability, and productivity while tracking and reporting measurable outcomes.
- Support and enhance reporting environments to deliver actionable insights.
- Coordinate and implement third-party solutions such as electronic sales order processing, inventory movement systems, and credit card integrations.
- Provide technical leadership for project management initiatives involving database systems.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, including core Financial and Distribution modules.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, including administration, performance tuning, and reporting.
- Familiarity with multiple ERP systems such as Oracle, Business Central, Sage, AX, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Binary Stream and third-party bolt-on solutions.
- Experience with electronic sales order processing, inventory movement systems, and credit card integrations.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead technical initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
- Expertise in database technologies like Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, MySQL, and related tools.
