The Orion controls electrical substations while serving webpages for configuration, diagnostics, and user-created graphical displays. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and use good engineering judgment. You should have an interest in working in the electric utility industry. Responsibilities   Create new and maintain existing product webpages. Participate in all stages of development from concept to implementation to maintenance. Create visually appealing and intuitive user configuration webpages on a resource-constrained embedded Linux platform. Produce easy to use responsive software update mechanisms. Provide informative user diagnostic information. Create and maintain animation features for user designed graphical displays. Requirements Associates degree or higher with 3+ years’ experience in a related field Must be highly motivated self-starter that can also collaborate with team members. Must be experienced with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, and MVC. Must have SQL experience. Must have working knowledge of Linux and GIT version control software. Must have the ability to update and enhance existing code bases. Knowledge of security practices a plus, e.g. cross site scripting prevention and form validation. Must be willing to work in office environment, minimum 3 days in office / 2 days remote as an option, full-time 40 hours per week What we offer you : Stable work in an essential industry at an industry-leading company.
