The HRIS Manager serves as the primary functional owner and subject matter expert for the organization's HRIS and related workforce technology. This role is responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, data integrity, integrations, reporting, security, and strategic use of HR systems across a complex, multi-state healthcare organization.
This is a highly hands-on role requiring the ability to move between strategic system planning and detailed system administration and troubleshooting. The HRIS Manager is expected to understand how the various components of the HR technology environment work together, identify root causes when issues arise, and take ownership of driving issues through resolution.
The HRIS Manager partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Operations, IT, leadership, and external vendors to ensure systems and processes effectively support the needs of the organization.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and strong problem solver who is comfortable challenging existing processes, advocating for sound system practices, and leading system improvements, implementations, acquisitions, conversions, and process automation.
