Job description

Developer

Location: Arlington, VA
Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract.

Summary:
The Developer will support DHS CISA by designing, building, and maintaining secure applications that enable mission-critical operations and modernization efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, test, and maintain application code following secure coding standards.

  • Participate in Agile sprints and contribute within DevSecOps environments.

  • Troubleshoot software issues, resolve bugs, and provide technical support.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions into enterprise systems.

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for developed applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in software development.

  • Hands-on experience with Java, Python, or C#.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and secure development practices.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
