Vege Labs LLC, a trusted manufacturer specializing in private label personal care products, cosmetics, and botanical extracts, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Specialist to join our Quality Control team at our onsite Glendale, CA facility.
In this key role, you will lead and support regulatory affairs initiatives to ensure our products meet all applicable FDA, Health Canada, and international compliance standards—from concept through market launch. You’ll collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to deliver safe, high-quality, and innovative products to consumers worldwide.
What You’ll Do
Lead and support regulatory affairs activities for new product development, product improvements, and private label projects.
Provide technical regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams in manufacturing, R&D, marketing, and quality for the U.S., Canada, and selected international markets.
Review and approve product labeling, ingredient decks, claims, and marketing materials to ensure compliance with FDA, Health Canada, and international cosmetic regulations.
Develop and implement regulatory strategies that align with business goals and support timely market launches.
Monitor and interpret evolving regulations and industry trends; communicate potential impacts and recommendations to company leadership.
Train and advise internal teams on applicable regulatory requirements, labeling standards, and good documentation practices.
Prepare, maintain, and organize regulatory documentation and submissions with accuracy, completeness, and professionalism.
What We are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or related field (Master’s a plus).
3–5 years of regulatory experience in personal care, cosmetics, or consumer products.
Strong understanding of FDA and Health Canada regulations for cosmetics, OTC, and consumer goods.
Hands-on experience with labeling, claims review, and compliance documentation.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
