  • Create efficient machining strategies that maximize tool life, quality, and productivity.
  • Select tooling, determine machining parameters, and support setup personnel during new job launches.
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and programming issues while providing production support.
  • Improve existing programs by reducing cycle times and increasing machining efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to support new product introductions and process improvements.
  • Verify programs through simulation, prove-outs, and first article inspections.
  • Maintain programming documentation, setup sheets, tooling lists, and revision control.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience programming CNC mills and/or lathes using CAM software such as Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM, Esprit, or similar.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T.
  • Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling, feeds and speeds, and tight-tolerance manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting machine setups, proving out new programs, and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with multi-axis machining, including 4-axis and 5-axis equipment.
  • Knowledge of G-code editing and post processors.
  • Experience with fixture design and process development.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
