We are seeking an experienced Foreman to manage and lead a crew of construction workers on our projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality. As a key member of our team, the Foreman will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a crew of construction workers, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress
- Skilled in testing water distribution and sewer lines, including performing pressure tests, leak detection, and ensuring systems meet all applicable safety standards.
- Ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of quality
- Ensure that all crew members comply with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Communicate regularly with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed on schedule and within budget
- Develop and maintain relationships with crew members and subcontractors to ensure that they are aware of project schedules and deadlines
- Train crew members on safety procedures and best practices
- Manage project resources, including materials and equipment, to ensure that they are used efficiently and effectively
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction projects
- Other duties as assigned
