Database Developer II
Position : Database DeveloperII
Location : Saint Louis MO (100% Onsite)
Position Type : 12 Months Contract to Hire
The Database Developer II role entails thecreation and maintenance of SQL Serverdatabase solutions across both production anddevelopment environments.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Develop troubleshoot and manage stored procedures viewstriggers and functions.
- Debug and adapt SSISpackages and SSRS reports utilizing RS configuration manager forreporting services setup.
- Design and supportXML / XLS schemas.
- Execute database and codemigrations tracking requests via internal SharePointworkflows.
- Attain a comprehensiveunderstanding of current IT applications / technologies to alignsolutions with divisional goals.
- Establish anduphold IT application standards within the division.
- Undertake special projects as directed bymanagement.
Required Skills andAbilities :
- Demonstrate intermediate autonomy and proactivity inmanaging database projects.
- Possessintermediatelevel analytical organizational documentation andcommunication skills.
- Function effectively ina dynamic deadlinedriven environment.
- Intermediate knowledge of .NET and legacy applicationsinterfacing with SQL.
- Intermediate proficiencyin Microsoft SQL Server database development.
- Manage multiple MS SQL Server databases on large systemsat an intermediate level.
- Intermediate abilityin database monitoring and tuning.
- Proficiencyin TransactSQL and stored procedures at an intermediatelevel.
- Basic familiarity with entity frameworkand team foundation server (TFS).
MinimumQualifications :
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field orequivalent practical experience.
- 35 years of experience indeveloping SQL applications for Windows and / or webplatforms.
