Position Summary : The SharePoint Engineer will be responsible for providing guidance, implementing best practices, and technical leadership related to M365 divisional initiatives.
This role requires strong project management skills to effectively manage SharePoint projects within a multi-divisional environment.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SharePoint administration, with expertise in SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams.
How you'll make an impact Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Design, implement, and maintain SharePoint solutions within the cloud-based SharePoint Online platform.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and provide business solutions. Configure SharePoint Online sites based on business needs and address architectural and tenant-level issues.
Analyze technology environment, document requirements, and provide project management capabilities. Migrate SharePoint farms and sites to the cloud.
Assist with SharePoint environment maintenance using PowerShell. Understand and create infrastructure diagrams. Administer cloud technologies like Azure and AWS.
Have a thorough understanding of networking connectivity and load balancing. Have familiarity with SQL, HTML, and Web Logic.
Demonstrate troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues. Administer SharePoint governance and ensure adherence to best practices.
Experience with third-party tools such as ShareGate, Cognillo, and ShortPoint for SharePoint sites. Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
Work effectively in a team environment. Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative. Have experience working with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
