POSITION TITLE
Systems Engineer / SME
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Systems Engineer, you will work as an integral member of a government / contractor team supporting ongoing and future programs.
In this unique role you will apply your technical skills toward state-of-the-art highly advanced analysis solutions in support of critical customer focus areas.
EXPERIENCE
Required :
- Master of Science degree with 15 to 20 years of prior relevant experience - additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- At least four (4) or more years of recent engineering experience in the following areas : RF communication, signal processing, radar, modeling and simulation, or similar fields
- In-depth knowledge of antenna design principals, array technology, and radio-wave propagation methods and systems
- Demonstrated knowledge as a subject matter expert of engineering principles and practices
- Active TS / SCI security clearance is required to be considered for this position. An active TS / SCI with polygraph is highly desired
- Experience working independently or as a member of a multidisciplinary design and development team that may include engineers and technicians
- Significant verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively collaborate in a team environment; present and explain technical information to colleagues, management or sponsors
Desired :
- Experience running simulations on high-performance computing (HPC), graphics processor units (GPU), or other advanced processing platforms
- Subject matter expert knowledge of advanced system concepts related to aerospace and / or spacecraft
- Proficient using modeling, design or development tools (e.g. MATLAB, Mathematica, Simulink, or languages such as C / C++, Java, Python, etc.)
Salary range : $100,000 - $125,000 - $150,0
