Cybersecurity Compliance Assessor

The Opportunity :

Cyber threats are everywhere, and the constantly evolving nature of these threats can make understanding them seem overwhelming to government agencies.

In all of this cyber noise, how can these organizations understand their risks and how to mitigate them? The answer is you an information security risk specialist who will break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As a Cybersecurity Compliance Assessor on our team, you’ll use your experience to work with commercial Cloud Service Providers to discover their cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan.

You’ll review technical, environmental, and personnel details from SMEs to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.

You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their cloud service offerings (CSOs).

This is your opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in cloud auditing and cloud security.

As a Cybersecurity Compliance Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating and assessing cloud service providers (CSPs) seeking FedRAMP compliance.

Your expertise in cloud security, risk management, and regulatory frameworks will contribute to ensuring the security and integrity of federal information systems.

You Have :

  • 3+ years of experience with cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security
  • Cybersecurity certification, such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM

Nice If You Have :

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity
  • Secret clearance
  • CISSP and one other Cloud technology or cloud auditing certification

Clearance :

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
